In our initial collection, “Anonymous,” all the pieces were re-appropriated and singularized from anonymously designed objects. These objects were produced with an awareness of the value of familiar forms, aiming to create healing tools for those who use and share them. The Beykoz Re-edition series has been and remains the most popular group of products from this collection, dating back to 2009.
The original late 19th-century Ottoman Glass Factory produced ornamented, cast glass tumblers in a neoclassical style, which are now rare finds, seen only in flea markets and antique stores. By re-appropriating and reissuing them as cast porcelain pieces glazed in striking colors, Santimetre gave these designs a second life, bringing joy and beauty to contemporary homes.

*Each piece is slip cast and hand glazed. They will have variations in color throughout the surface. This is not considered a fault but a syptom of the process and glaze chemistry.
*Open forms may be slightly warped. Perfect symetry not to be expected.
